What should I do and who should I call when my loved one pass on?

When death occurs, immediately call us Oracle Funeral Pte Ltd at +65 9366 9859 so we can guide you step by step thru the entire process and to make the necessary funeral service arrangements.

If death occurs at home, we can arrange for a doctor to certify the death. Alternatively, you can contact your family doctor or a neighbourhood doctor who is willing to make a house call to certify the death.

The death will be automatically registered once a doctor certifies a death online. A digital death certificate will be issued and can be retrieved from the My Legacy portal and we will assist you with the funeral service arrangements.

If the doctor is unable to certify the death the police will have to be called in to arrange for the body to be sent to HSA Mortuary (located at SGH Block 9) in a police hearse.

If death occurs in hospital, the doctor will certify the death, Next of Kin (NOK) are advised to download the digital death certificate as soon as they have received the digital death certificate number from the doctor or hospital staff. They will be given up to 30 days to download the digital death certificate. Once downloaded, the digital death certificate can be stored on the NOK’s personal devices. We will then assist you with the funeral service arrangements.

If death occurs overseas, we can immediately provide assistance for world wide repatriation and documentation arrangements.

Items to prepare for us - 1 set of clothing including undergarment, footwear and sock (if any) for your loved one to dress up for the final journey and 1 photograph (hard or soft copy) for us to enlarge for the wake.

Pro Bono Or Free Funeral Service For The Destitute & Needy Families
Oracle Funeral Pte Ltd is pleased to announce that we will be providing pro bono or free funeral services to the needy families who are unable to hold a funeral wake, driven by the conviction that every individual in our society is entitled to a respectful farewell. We have been collaborating with charitable organizations to offer pro bono or free funeral services to families, while ensuring that a respectful funeral service is maintained.
The pro bono or free funeral services will only be applicable to a straight cremation process only. Oracle Funeral will assist in arranging the entire cremation process at no cost to the family.
